Tàijíquán

Tai chi, or tàijíquán, is a traditional Chinese martial art based on the Taoist philosophy of life. Life is movement, and as in the tai chi symbol, yin and yang constantly coexist and balance each other.

The principles of tai chi are the same as those of qi gong. The practice is based on learning a tai-chi routine (or form), which is a succession of slow-moving postures. Each posture conceals a martial art application to be trained with a partner. As yin and yang always coexist, each posture includes aspects of attack and defense.

As an internal martial art, Tai qi focuses on awareness. Tai qi improves health and longevity. It is a powerful system of self-defense. A Essence of health our master is Mr Henli Röder, who was taught by Professor Cheng Man Ching.

This well-known sign is called Tai chi.
